Marissa + Tyler // Styled Shoot // Sneak Peek
Some days every piece falls perfectly into place.
Today was one of those days- it was even better than I could’ve dreamed it to be.
Marissa is an incredible photographer who recently moved back to Seattle from LA. We have mutual friends that kept encouraging us to get together, so finally we set a date and it was one of those word spewing sessions where we may have just met for the first time, but you wouldn’t of known that from looking at us. Instant friends and now collaborators.
I have been dying to do a styled shoot of my own for quite some time, and when Anne from Floressence Designs and I worked on this wedding together earlier this year, I knew we had to collaborate again because her flowers are out of a dream, not to mention she’s one of the sweetest vendors I’ve come across in Seattle! 🙂
Now fast forward to Marissa and I meeting up a few months ago and I asked her if she’d want to model for me. Oh and I asked her if she’d like some photos of her and her boyfriend, Tyler also. She said YES and now I have these images to share.
I got home and couldn’t help but edit a few of my favorite frames and BLOG something for once. It’s been awhile, but a shoot like this will kick you to get back on your blog and man what a proud post to do it.
Thank you to Anne for your incredible flowers, to Marissa and Tyler for trekking all the way to Deception Pass for this shoot- and for the universe making this honestly one of the best shoots I’ve ever had the opportunity to be a part of.
Feast your eyes.
Marissa’s dress she recently picked up from Free People– her to DIE FOR mint coat is from Anthropologie that she got about 4 years ago, and that orange red cardigan is from Anne Taylor Loft.
Flowers by Anne from Floressence.
Make sure to check out Marissa’s stunning photography as well!
